Compounded Medication Source Information

Scientists in laboratory

At Weight Benefits, your health and safety are our highest priorities. We are committed to sourcing only the highest-quality compounded GLP-1/GIP (glucagon-like peptide) medications that are made only in the USA. When it comes to your care, consistency and reliability are non-negotiable.

We only work with and source with regulated compounding partners that follow strict standards for purity, potency, and safety. Approximately 1% of compounding pharmacies choose to test every batch they compound for sterility and potency, maintaining the highest standard of safety. When this third-party testing is performed, it takes about 10 days to receive the results for sterility, potency, and the medications are never released until these tests have been passed and confirmed.  Only pharmaceutical grade ingredients sourced from FDA registered facilities are used in preparing all compounds. By choosing domestically compounded medications, we not only support transparent and regulated manufacturing practices, but also ensure that you receive a medication you can trust.

Key Features of a 503B Pharmacy:

Our 503B Pharmacy is committed to quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. All of our products undergo rigorous third-party testing through qualified and independent laboratories to ensure they meet established standards for purity, potency, and consistency. These measures are part of our ongoing quality assurance protocols designed to provide full transparency and reliability. Additionally, the 503B pharmacy confirms that the active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) used in our formulations is sourced exclusively from suppliers listed on the FDA’s approved (“green list”) database. Pharmacy representatives visit the sites to do a supplier/vendor qualification.  This ensures that all materials originate from facilities that meet strict regulatory and manufacturing standards.

All medications are dispensed by a licensed 503A or 503B compounded pharmacy upon an individual prescription from a qualified provider following an in-person consultation.
